Is it March already??

Time continues to fly by here.  Jonathan remains a complete delight, and he is always on the go! He can run, he can walk backwards, he can clear a flight of stairs in under a minute! Our little superman is still a bubbly bundle of joy, and his sense of humor is really starting to show.  He's very funny, doing silly things over and over again to make Mommy laugh. He's said several words, like "I love you" and "Bless you", but only once.  We are eagerly waiting to hear them again.  Otherwise, everyone and everything is "dada" or some variant thereof.

Jonathan loves Dada!

He's also become quite the mimic.  After intently watching Mommy vacuum his bedroom, he got out his popper toy the next morning and proceeded to "vacuum" the whole room!  We're planning to get him a real vacuum for his next birthday. (just kidding!)

He also will sit all by himself in his rocking chair to read. It is next to Mommy's, and he will sometimes keep her company in the mornings while she does her Bible study.

Sarah and Raphael celebrated their 5 year anniversary a little early. Last month, Sarah's mom came and stayed with Jonathan for the week, so we could go to Asheville, NC for the weekend.  Jonathan had a wonderful time with Grandma; he called her "Ahdah", and after she left, he walked around the house calling "Ahdah?" Ahdah!" for a week!
We stayed at the Inn at the Biltmore - it was lovely and the grounds were beautiful! We especially liked getting to sleep-in in the mornings!

 Almost 5 years!

We also saw the Biltmore estate, built by the grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt, founder of Vanderbilt University.  It was quite impressive, a castle really, complete with indoor swimming pool and bowling alley in the basement.

Spring has finally come to Nashville, and we've been able to get out more.  He loves walking to the playground on our street, throwing toys off the deck into the mud, and collecting bits of grass and leaves.
While Grandma was here, we went to the zoo.  Jonathan loves seeing all the animals, especially the fish!
